DESCRIPTION
WoodPlus_PSO is an exterior opaque acrylic multipurpose coating which is specially designed for factory controlled machine application on substrates (see Recommended Uses below). A non-hazardous product, WoodPlus_PSO is formulated with low VOC’s (18 g/l) with NO solvents (non-flammable). This formulation has been prepared to accommodate rapid re-coat dependent upon the drying systems (forced air and/or infra-red). With excellent colour and gloss retention, WoodPlus_PSO is a superb choice in this application. The opaque finish enhances the texture of the substrate maximizing the end result envisioned. WoodPlus_PSO represents an evolution in coatings technology that provides the ultimate in protection in a user friendly 100% acrylic formula. WoodPlus_PSO is specially formulated to provide exterior surfaces with optimal U.V. protection. WoodPlus_PSO provides a very breathable film allowing any natural moisture in the substrate to escape while providing an exceptional barrier against excess moisture uptake from the elements. WoodPlus_PSO also provides excellent physical wear characteristics for those areas that need it most.
RECOMMENDED USES
WoodPlus_PSO is an exterior opaque 100% acrylic multipurpose coating which is specially designed for factory controlled machine application on an array of substrates (eg. wood timbers, siding, shakes, shingles, T1-11, trim boards, pressure-treated wood, and primed fiber cement board). WoodPlus_PSO has been successfully tested for use on torrified (roasted) wood. Refer to the Application Guide for full application and maintenance procedures.
