DESCRIPTION
WoodPlus_PS is an exterior translucent acrylic multipurpose coating which is specially designed for factory controlled machine application on wood substrates (see Recommended Uses below). A non-hazardous product, WoodPlus_PS is formulated with low VOC’s (18 g/l) with NO solvents (non-flammable). This formulation has been prepared to accommodate rapid re-coat dependent upon the drying systems (forced air and/or infra-red). With excellent colour and gloss retention, WoodPlus_PS is a superb choice in this application. The translucent finish provides for full wood grain visibility which enhances the rich finish envisioned for the end product. WoodPlus_PS represents an evolution in coatings technology that provides the ultimate in protection exterior applications in a user friendly 100% acrylic formula. WoodPlus_PS is specially formulated to provide exterior surfaces with optimal U.V. protection while preserving the natural beauty. WoodPlus_PS provides a very breathable film allowing the natural moisture in the wood to escape while providing an exceptional barrier against excess moisture uptake from the elements. WoodPlus_PS also provides excellent physical wear characteristics for those areas that need it most.
RECOMMENDED USES
WoodPlus_PS is an exterior translucent 100% acrylic multi-purpose coating which is specially designed for factory controlled machine application on an array of substrates (eg. wood timbers, siding, shakes, shingles, T1-11, trim boards, pressure-treated wood, and primed fiber cement board). WoodPlus_PS has been successfully tested for use on torrified (roasted) wood. Refer to the Application Guide for full application and maintenance procedures.
